Did you ever use a typewriter to write a letter or perhaps a story?

I love coding, computers and the dynamics of our technology but I also love peace and quiet sometimes.

Using a typewriter means no distractions from online notifications, no browsing online while working and no electricity required. You don't need to worry about formatting your text and yet you get a stylish hard copy of your work immediately.

Typing can be hard on your fingers though and it might feel a bit like playing the piano. There is no grammar check or backspace button. I've made a mess with the ink several times until I finally learned how to do a good job.

It feels vintage, authentic and relaxing.

I've might just given you the idea of writing me an actual letter with a typewriter.
